Financial Strength Rating

A.M. Best has assigned Nationale Suisse the financial strength rating of “A-” (Excellent) with a positive outlook. In doing so, A.M. Best acknowledges the improving operating performance and strong capitalisation of Nationale Suisse. The rating also takes into account our business profile which is increasingly oriented towards specialty lines and selected target groups in the private and business client segment.

The “A-” rating (Excellent), assigned to Nationale Suisse by A.M. Best on 19 December 2012, indicates that the international insurance group is in an excellent position to meet its ongoing and future insurance obligations.

The rating applies to Swiss National Insurance Company Ltd, the parent company of the Nationale Suisse Group.
